Service Disruption Notice

w.e.f July 1st, 2022

This is to apprise you of the recent directives issued by the Reserve Bank of India, the central regulatory body for banking and non-banking financial institutions in India. The directive applies to all credit cards, including co-branded cards like your Bettr card powered by SBM Bank India. We have given below the link to the concerned RBI circular for your ready reference.

As per the RBI directive, issuing Banks and co-branded partners need to make specific changes as prescribed in the roles and responsibilities of the concerned circular. As a responsible brand, we must implement such changes immediately and request your help to abide by the RBI directives. Hence, to incorporate such changes and comply with the new regulations, we will be halting new card applications and temporarily blocking new transactions on all existing cards immediately. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to you as your card will be non-functional temporarily.

Please note that repayments due now need to be paid as per your last statement due date. As part of compliance, we will continue to report all your payments to credit bureaus (CIBIL, Experian, etc.). You may continue using the Bettr App to make your due payments.

We’ve built Bettr as a value-driven, purpose-led community focused on enabling financial success for individuals who believe in living life mindfully. The SBM Bettr card is our attempt to translate our mission into a simple, transparent, and useful product.

We hope you’ve found your Bettr card to serve you as intended, and you’ll continue to support your tribe during this time of transition.
